World Vitiligo Day USA 2026 🇺🇸
The Westin Charlotte, 601 South College Street, Charlotte, NC, 28202
Next year marks a special milestone: the 10th anniversary of the landmark World Vitiligo Day gathering on the steps of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC (report).
Led by Valarie Molyneaux and VITFriends, more than 300 advocates, nonprofit leaders, researchers, healthcare professionals, and elected officials came together in 2016.
Governors of 18 US states issued proclamations in support of WVD, and the day was finally recognized on the UN calendar that year.
In 2026, we invite you to celebrate a decade of progress, community, and empowerment under the theme:
“Look How Far We’ve Come: A Journey of Resilience, Strength, and Beauty.”
Presented by the Global Vitiligo Foundation and hosted by the North Carolina Vitiligo Support Community.
Dates: June 26–28, 2026
Registration: $75–$150
