Description:
Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice plans to enroll about 56 participants. Ritlecitinib is an oral immune-modulating drug that blocks JAK3 and TEC-family signaling. Researchers hope it will reduce the immune attack on melanocytes and support repigmentation. Ritlecitinib is sold as Litfulo and is approved for severe alopecia areata in people age 12 and older; vitiligo would be a new use. Possible effects include headache, diarrhea, acne, and infections. People age 18 and older may qualify. The study is recruiting at 5 listed sites in France.
